Audio Authority 2401 Single-Channel UTP Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor for Cat 5e/6 protects UTP-based equipment against induced current and transient voltage that is often associated with noisy electrical environments and electrical storms.
Protect your next installation from transient electromagnetic surges that can damage or destroy sensitive electronic equipment. These
surges, sometimes exceeding 100,000 Volts, originate from lightning, power system faults, utility grid switching, or load switching, and
can effect any installation.
Supplement your standard AC power protection regimen by adding back-end protection of a system's vulnerable cable infrastructure. When maximum
uptime is critical, simply add a 2400 series product at each end of the cable to prevent your cable from turning into an antenna that shunts
damaging voltages to your equipment.
