Warranty and Return Policy

Defective Merchandise

All cables are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year.  Electronic equipment and accessories are warranted by the manufacturer, and we will gladly handle warranty repair or exchange for you at no charge.

International customers

Please notice that most of our merchandise carries a USA (only) warranty, so you must return the merchandise to us for all warranty repair or replacement issues. You will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses, in both directions.

All Customers

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. Please contact us for authorization and instructions.

Non-defective Merchandise

All non-defective returns are subject to restocking fees.  Here are some examples of the fees:

Un-opened merchandise

All un-opened returns are subject to a 5% (minimum) restocking fee.  For non-stocking merchandise, the restocking fee is 20 percent (minimum).

For "Custom" cables, including any cable that is built or customized at the time of purchase, the restocking fee varies, depending upon the degree of customization and the condition of the return.  Very common configurations are subject to a 20% restocking fee, while very unusual configurations could require restocking fees up to 60%, assuming in both cases that the cable(s) are returned in pristine condition.  We realize that this is a large range, so please contact us if you have questions about a particular cable.

Special-order items are not eligible for refund.

Shipping/handling fees are not refundable and you will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses related to the return and/or replacement.  In the case of items with "free shipping", customary shipping/handling fees will be added to your restocking fees.

Opened merchandise

Special-order items are not eligible for refund.

B-Stock or "open box" electronic devices - 10% (minimum)

New electronic devices - 20% (minimum)

Manufactured cables that are packaged in a reusable container - 10% (minimum)

Manufactured cables that are packaged in a non-reusable container - 20% (minimum)

In order to qualify for the rates shown above, we must receive your return within the first 30 days following the sale date.

We accept non-defective returns, with the following conditions:

  • You must have written Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for your return.
  • The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the shipping box.
  • We must receive the return within 30 days following your paid order.
  • The item must be in pristine condition.
  • The item must be packed in the original package, and must be complete, including all of the original packing materials.
  • The item must be boxed as necessary to maintain the new appearance of the manufacturers package.
  • You must use a shipping service that includes tracking or delivery confirmation.
  • Shipping/handling charges are not refundable.  In the case of items with "free shipping", customary shipping/handling fees will be added to your restocking fees.

Once these conditions have been met, we will issue a refund via the original payment method.

After 30 days, or in cases where the item is returned incomplete, or in less than perfect condition, we will evaluate the restocking fees on a case by case basis.  Terms and conditions that are specifically stated on the item page or during checkout take precedence.
