Use the Audio Authority 1180RD Decora Wallplate Receiver with 1180T Enclosed Transmitter and 1180TD Decora Wallplate Transmitters or combine with the 1110 Adapter for single cable connections to dual-cable distribution systems such as AVAtrix, SixDrive and DuoDrive.
Designed to fit a standard single-gang electrical box, the 1180RD Decora Wallplate Receiver can receive component video and digital audio at distances as great as 1000 feet, over a single Cat5-type twisted-pair cable, such as Cat-5, Cat-5e, or Cat-6.
The 1180RD is also available as a part of a complete distribution system as SCP-11D. If you would prefer to have the same receiver in a stand-alone enclosure, please check out the 1180R receiver.
Like most Audio Authority products, the 1180RD comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

Overview
The 1180RD is a high performance Cat 5 Receiver designed for use with 1180T and 1180TD Cat 5Transmitters. Utilizing Audio Authority's proprietary AGE (Active Gain Equalization) technology, image quality is maintained over long distances. Passive baluns can't compete with active balanced line technology like that found in the 1180RD Cat 5 extender, which offers higher bandwidth, excellent impedance matching, and superior noise rejection.
