The Intelix DL-HDCOAX is the successor to the original DIGI-HD-COAX2 HDMI over Coax Extender, which basically reinvented HDMI Distribution!

This HDCP-compliant extender transmits HDMI at resolutions up to 1080p over a single coaxial cable. Many homes and businesses already have RG6 or RG59 wiring in place, and the DL-HDCOAX provides an way way to take advantage of that for HDMI transmission.

The DL-HDCOAX takes the original concept to a new level, with support for HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.1 compliance.  The DL-HDCOAX can transmit 1080p HDMI signals up to 100 meters (328 feet) over a single coaxial cable, giving it the advantage of greater range when compared to most twisted-pair extenders. It may be worth mentioning too that, while it is not mentioned in the specs, in our informal testing, we found that greater range was possible at lower resolutions.  Keep in mind too that you can squeeze a bit more range out of the system by using high-performance coaxial cables, like our Canare L-4CFB or L-5CFB precision cables.  Please ask for details.

With full support for HDMI v1.3b, the DL-HDCOAX can handle advanced features, including (but not limited to) 1080p, Deep Color, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio lossless audio formats.  Full HDCP compliance.

Since the the system can make use of existing coaxial cabling, that makes the DL-HDCOAX a great choice for retrofit installations because the cost of new cable(s) and installation labor can be completely eliminated.

The DL-HDCOAX comes complete with both transmitter and receiver units, (2) power supplies, IR TX cable, IR Rx cable, and a printed installation guide.

Like most Intelix products, the DDL-HDOAX comes with a two year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

The DigitaLinx DL-HDCOAX is an HDMI over Coax extender that accommodates distances up to 100 meters (328ft). The DL-HDCOAX supports resolutions up to 1080p and 48KHz Digital Audio.

The DL-HDCOAX features IR capability allowing the user to control the source from the display. The DL-HDCOAX is HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.1 compliant. The transmitter and receiver are powered on both ends, power supplies are provided with the set.
