This Gefen EXT-HD-142A, 1x2 HD / Digital Audio Splitter distributes a single HD video signal to two displays. This high quality device can be used to send HD video and separate digital audio signals from DVD players, Blu-Ray players, satellite receivers, cable boxes, and other HD-enabled sources to multiple HD-enabled devices, such as LCD, DLP, LCoS, plasma and CRT monitors and projectors.
Important Note: Since the digital audio signal is separate from the video signal, this splitter works equally well with either DVI or HDMI digital video, so if you have a mix of DVI and HDMI equipment, that is not a problem! The ports on the splitter are HDMI style, so conversion cables or adapters are used to connect equipment with DVI connectors.
This unit has been opened and as such is being sold as an "Open Box Unit".
Cable Solutions backs the EXT-HD-142A-B with a one year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, just as we would a new unit. This warranty is separate from any warranty that may be provided by the manufacturer, so you must contact Cable Solutions for all warranty-related issues.

The HDMI Digital Audio Splitter is a distribution hub that sends the same video output to two or more HDTV displays. It is a flexible solution that can be stacked to accommodate multiple displays. When two or more HDMI Splitters are connected together, they can be used to create a larger distribution.
The HDMI Digital Audio Splitter is connected using a HDMI cable from the HDMI source to the HDMI Splitter input. There are two HDMI outputs. HDMI output 1 is the primary connection and is used for the main display. HDMI output 2 follows the main display.
