The Model AMP-1235 brings Audio Authority's wealth of showroom demonstration expertise to this 12-channel audio
amplifier, suitable for whole-house and light commercial audio systems. The system can deliver up to 35
Watts when driving all twelve channels into 8 Ohm loads, or 50 Watts per channel into 4 Loads. In addition,
the stereo channels can be bridged to provide six outputs at 100 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms.
Designed to be the perfect companion to the AVAtrix HD Matrix Distribution system, the AMP-1235 also performs
flawlessly as a stand-alone amplifier. This multi-zone amplifier features an attractive all-metal enclosure
and includes rack-mount ears for rack installations.

A compact, high-performance zone amplifier designed for multi-room/multi-zone audio installations.
Provides 35 watts per channel of output with all twelve channels driven. Bridged mode enables higher power
output. Thermal and short protection provide guarantees against product failure in stressful applications,
and selectable turn-on modes save power to minimize cost.
Overview
The Model AMP-1235 can be used independently, or as a companion product to the AVAtrix HD Cat 5 Matrix
System. Up to three AMP-1235 amplifiers can be used with an AVAtrix system to create a maximum system
capacity of 18 unique listening zones. The AVAtrix provides switched audio outputs to each AMP-1235 via an
Audio Router (Model 1173BK), coordinating each room’s audio program with the video program being received
on an AVAtrix Cat 5 zone receiver. See example application drawings.

Important Installation Note: Amplifiers produce heat. To ensure long service life,
provide adequate ventilation by leaving at least 3 inches of clearance above the amplifier and 2 inches to
each side.
