Use the Audio Authority Model 1180RD Wallplate Receiver with 1180T enclosed and
1180TD Decora wallplate transmitters or combine with the 1110 Adapter for single
cable connections to two-cable distribution systems such as AVAtrix, SixDrive and DuoDrive. With its wallplate design, this receiver fits
standard wall boxes and frames. This model requires only one Cat 5 style UTP cable.
The 1180RD is also available as a part of a complete system as Model SCP-11.
If you would prefer to have the same receiver built in a stand-alone enclosure, please check out the
1180R receiver.
Like most Audio Authority products, the model 1180RD comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

Model 1180RD
Now Shipping! Our leading AGE (Active Gain Equalization) technology, now applied
to a single Cat 5 system suitable for transmitting 1080p component video and digital coaxial audio up to 1,000
feet from the source.
For maximum installation flexibility, the Cat 5 receivers are phantom powered from the transmitter for
runs up to 700 feet. Receiver power supply (571-014) required for >700 ft. distances. Made in the
USA.
The SCP-11D system includes (1) 1180TD and (1) 1180RD.
Overview
The 1180RD is a high performance Cat 5 Receiver designed for use with 1180T and 1180TD Cat 5Transmitters.
Utilizing Audio Authority's proprietary AGE (Active Gain Equalization) technology, image quality is maintained
over long distances. Passive baluns can't compete with active balanced line technology like that found in
the 1180RD Cat 5 extender, which offers higher bandwidth, excellent impedance matching, and superior noise
rejection.
