FLX-8X8 card and cage chassis can accommodate up to four modular expansion cards. Cards are available to handle HDMI, DVI, VGA, Y/Pb/Pr component video, and/or HDBaseT inputs, and output card choices include HDMI, DVI, and HDBaseT, so it is possible to use this matrix system to drive both local as well as remote zone outputs via twisted-pair cabling.
In addition to the expansion cards, whole-premise audio capabilities are built right in.
Twisted-pair receivers are sold separately below, so you can get exactly the functionality you need. Use any combination of receivers, up to a total of two receivers (add to your cart below):
- DIGI-HDE-R Enclosed HDBaseT Receiver - HDMI, HDMI audio, bi-directional IR and RS-232, up to 70 meters (225 feet) via one twisted-pair cable
- DIGI-HD60C-R Enclosed HDBaseT Receiver - HDMI, HDMI audio, bi-direction IR and RS-232, up to 60 meters (195 feet) via one twisted-pair cable
- DIGI-HD60-R Enclosed HDBaseT Receiver - HDMI, HDMI audio up to 70 meters (225 feet) via one twisted-pair cable
As with virtually all systems that are based upon twisted-pair cable technology, the Intelix Flex Matrix Distribution System will work with virtually any twisted-pair cables, including Cat-5e and Cat-6, but range and system bandwidth are directly related to both distance and cable quality, so to get the highest resolutions at the greatest distances, you will want high-quality, low-skew cables. Like most Intelix products, the FLX-8X8A comes with a two year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
