Intelix DIGI-V3SD Component Video, Audio, IR/RS232 Balun Set
The Intelix DIGI-V3SD Component Video, Audio and IR/RS232 Active Balun Set can transmit high-resolution Component Video, as well as stereo audio and IR/RS232 signals up to 1000 feet over a single twisted-pair cable, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6.
To take advantage of the IR feature (instead of RS232), add the optional DIGI-VGASD-IREYE IR Receiver and DIGI-VGASD-IREMT IR Emitter.
The DIGI-V3SD system includes one transmitter balun and one receive balun, and two power supplies.
The (3) video connectors are RCA-female jacks, suitable for use with standard component video cables. The (2) audio connectors are also RCA-female, color-coded white and red for use with standard audio interconnect cables. IR inputs are 1/8" TRS-mini-phone jacks and the IR outputs are 1/8" TS-mini-phone jacks. RS232 is handled by a standard DB9 connector. Connection to the twisted-pair cables is via RJ45.
As with virtually all systems that are based upon twisted-pair cable technology, the Intelix HDMI Twisted-pair Matrix Distribution System will work with virtually any twisted-pair cables, including Cat-5e and Cat-6, but range and bandwidth is directly related to both distance and cable quality, so to get the highest resolutions at the greatest distances, you will want high-quality, low-skew cables. Like most Intelix products, the DIGI-V3SD comes with a two year limited warranty from the manufacturer. Proudly made in the USA. The B-Stock Unit also comes with a two year limited warranty.

In this connection example, a DVD player sends component video and stereo audio to a remote monitor via a single twisted pair cable. IR is transmitted from the remote destination to the DVD player via the same cable.
