The Intelix DIGI-USB-F may be used stand-alone, or
may also be rack-mounted by using an optional
rack-mount
kit. Notice that Intelix Baluns are designed to work
with standard unshielded CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 cable -
shielded cable is not required!
Like most Intelix products, the DIGI-USB-F comes with a
two year limited warranty from the
manufacturer.
Intelix's Description
The Intelix DIGI-USB-F transmits a USB signal up to
330 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cabling,
such as Cat 5 or Cat 6. The DIGI-USB-F is ideal for
sending 1.5 Mbps or 12 Mbps USB signals extended
distances. Each DIGI-USB-F includes a send balun,
receive balun, and one five foot USB cable. The system
is powered via the USB output of the source device. The
DIGI-USB-F is compatible with most USB hubs and
distribution amplifiers.

Intelix DIGI-USB-F Cat-5 Balun Set
Here is a closer look at the tops of
the units.
In this connection example, the
Intelix
DIGI-USB-F connects a remote mouse to a PC 330 feet
away. Standard unshielded Cat 5 connects the send and
receive baluns. The system is powered through the PC's
USB output.
