Intelix AVO-A4-WP110 Dual Stereo Audio Wallplate Balun with 110 Punch-Down Termination transmits/receives Dual Stereo (or four mono) audio signals up to 2500 feet over a single CAT 5 type cable.
This professional-grade device uses a high-performance passive design to deliver audiophile-quality sound, making it the ideal choice for corporate A/V, schools, churches, auditoriums, as well as for discriminating individuals - just about any situation that involves audio distribution.
With its attractive Decora-style wallplate design, the Intelix AVO-A4-WP110 is simple to install in a standard single-gang electrical box. A Decora trim cover is not included, but we do offer them as an option in the cart below.
The audio connectors are RCA-female, color-coded white and red for use with standard audio interconnect cables. Connection to the twisted-pair cable is via 110 punch-down for quick and easy installation with unterminated twisted-pair cabling.
Notice that Intelix baluns are designed to work with standard unshielded CAT5, CAT6 or CAT7 cable - shielded cable is not required! If you want the very best twisted-pair cables, please check out our VideoTwist Cat-6 cables.

AVO-A4-WP110 Dual Stereo Audio Wallplate Balun
The Intelix AVO-A4-WP110 wallplate balun transmits four mono or two stereo analog audio signals over standard unshielded twisted pair cabling, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6. Used in pairs or with a compatible Intelix balun, the AVO-A4-WP110 transmits analog audio in either direction up to 2,500 feet and is ideal for corporate A/V, churches, schools, auditoriums, and almost any other situation involving audio distribution.
The AVO-A4-WP110 features four female RCA connectors on the front and a 110 punch-down termination on the rear. The unit includes a 110 termination tool.
The Intelix AvoCat Series of baluns is the ideal solution for sending audio and video over structured cabling.

In this connection example, one Intelix AVO-A4-WP110 wall-plate balun and one Intelix AVO-A4-F rack-mountable balun connect a remote CD player and a remote satellite audio feed to a receiver. The distance between these devices may be up to 2,500 feet. Four patch cords with RCA connectors are required to connect the baluns to the source and destination devices. (Patch cords sold separately.)
