The Gefen EXT-HDMI-142 1:2 HDMI Splitter Black is a high-quality HDMI
distribution amplifier, suitable for HDTV resolutions up to 1080p and computer
resolutions up to 1920x1200. The "Black" designation refers to the
blue/black colors of the case, offering an alternative to Gefen's typical

This high-quality device can be used to send the HDMI signal
from a DVD player, D-VHS, satellite receiver, cable box, or other
HDMI-enabled source to
multiple HDMI-capable devices, such as
DLP, LCoS, LCD, SXRD, plasma and CRT monitors and projectors. This updated model supports both digital video and digital audio over HDMI.
Important Note:
This splitter is also ideal for use with DVI-enabled equipment.

Distribute HDMI Video and Audio
The HDMI
Splitter allows set-top boxes, DVD players, D-VHS players and other
HDTV devices with a HDMI output to be connected to two or more HDTV
displays. It is a flexible distribution hub that can accommodate
multiple displays when two or more HDMI Splitters are connected to
create a larger distribution.
How it works
The
HDMI Splitter is connected using a HDMI cable from the HDMI source
to the HDMI splitter input. There are two HDMI outputs. HDMI output
1 is the primary connection and is used for the main display. HDMI
output 2 follows the main display.

This HDMI product supports BOTH Audio and Video signals.
