The DVI CAT-5 Extreme makes it simple to connect DVI equipment over
distances up to 61 meters (200 feet). This is at least four times the distance that is possible with even the best passive cables!
CAT5 cables have the added advantage of small physical size, making them ideal for use in conduits, or anywhere that it would be difficult to route a DVI cable. The transceiver units are small and
lightweight, making them easy to install. We have the necessary CAT5 cable kits available separately.

Extreme extends your DVI display up to 200 feet away from your HDTV
DVI or HDMI™ source using cost effective CAT-5 cables.
How it works
The
DVI CAT-5 Extreme sender unit sits next to your computer, DVD player
or any set-top box. The cable supplied with the DVI CAT-5 Extreme
connects your DVI source to the sender. The DVI CAT-5 Extreme
receiver sits next to your DVI display - up to 200 feet away. The
display plugs into the back of the DVI CAT-5 Extreme receiver. Two
CAT-5e cables connect the sender and the receiver units to each
other.

The DVI CAT-5 Extreme is HDCP compliant.

The sending unit is on the top and the receiving unit is on the bottom. As
you can see, the power supply connects to the sending unit at the far left.
Both units have power status lights and DVI connectors.
