We are offering this heat-shrink tubing, by the foot, at the same per-foot price that you would expect to pay for a full spool. In fact, if you purchase the full number of feet that we have remaining at any given time, you will actually get the remainder of the spool. We used less than 10 feet off of this spool, so the initial amount available is assumed to be 240 feet.
The nominal diameter of the tubing is 1/2" (before shrinking) and it can shrink as small as 1/4", which is the basis of the 2:1 shrink ratio designation. Some sellers label this same product as 12mm or 13mm, and 1/2" falls in between those two numbers.
2:1 Polyolefin heat shrink is very versatile, making it one of the most popular types available. It shrinks at 120°C (248°F) and has a wide operating temperature range of -55°C (-67°F) to 135°C (275°F).
If you buy 4 feet of this shrink from the manufacture's website, you will pay $0.85 per foot, but we are offering it here for just $0.20 per foot, which is less that you would pay even if you were to purchase a full 250 foot spool. The quantity available represents the number of feet remaining on the spool, so for example, if you order a quantity of "10" you will get ten feet of heat shrink tubing.
This picture gives you a better look at the un-shrunk tubing itself. For what it's worth, on my color-calibrated monitor, these pictures look just slightly more violet than the shrink tubing itself. Naturally, what you see is may vary slightly as the purples seem to be among the most difficult to render accurately.
