The Audio Authority 9871 can drive a maximum of two 9878, 9879 or 9880 receivers (add to cart below), and additional 9871 driver units may be stacked in order to support a virtually unlimited number of receivers!
This DuoDrive transmitter uses an active design, so it can transmit high-definition component video, as well as both analog and digital audio, up to 1000 feet, using inexpensive CAT5-type cables - a range that passive balun systems simply cannot achieve! Combined with the appropriate receiver, the 9871 DuoDrive transmitter delivers pristine HDTV video at all HDTV resolutions up to 1080p, as well as full bandwidth analog stereo audio and multi-channel digital audio. The 9871 even includes a return pathway for IR control.
Like most Audio Authority products, the 9871 comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

This is the 9871 driver module installed. Input connections are on the left side of the unit and pass-through outputs are on the right. The CAT5 outputs are on the bottom.
This diagram shows basic audio/video signal flow in a medium sized installation. Two or more Drivers may be “stacked” to increase capacity. The RCA bus output may be used to feed HDTV signals to a local video display and/or sound system.
