The Audio Authority 979T Analog Audio to Digital Audio (PCM) Down-Converter is unlike other A to D converters that you may have seen in that it is able to handle multiple PCM Digital Audio output formats, including 48, 96, and 192K bitrates.
The 979T is equipped with both optical and coaxial digital audio outputs, which are simultaneously active. It outputs universally accepted two-channel (stereo) PCM digital audio.
Like most Audio Authority products, the 979T comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer. The B-Stock Unit also comes with a one year limited warranty.

The 979T's digital optical and digital coaxial outputs may be used simultaneously for maximum installation flexibility.
Perfect for use with baluns that only offer digital audio pathways - pair it with a 979R at the other end to convert back to analog audio.
