There are any number of uses for the Audio Authority 1365 video processor. For example, it is a format converter, so it can be used to very simply connect an HDTV monitor to a PC. It can just as easily be used to connect a computer monitor to an HDTV source component, such as a DVD player, set top box,
or game console - take a look at the connection examples at the lower right for more ideas.
The 1365 features a versatile onscreen menu system for easy configuration. It supports most PC resolutions, as well as most HDTV formats (see the chart at the right). In addition, the device does colorspace conversion from Y/Pb/Pr to R/G/B/H/V, or from R/G/B/H/V to Y/Pb/Pr. This is a very versatile
device!
The unit is physically rather small at 1.2" H x 3" W x 5.5" D, and it is housed in an all-metal case, with ribbed side panels and an attractive textured finish. Like most Audio Authority products, the model 1365 comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

The 1365 is an ultra compact, high performance scaler designed to perform a multitude of PC/HD to PC/HD signal conversion tasks. Ideal for adapting component video signal from high definition sources to RGBHV inputs on rear- and front-projection displays.
The input resolution is automatically detected and can either be RGBHV, YPbPr or YCbCr format.
In addition to PC to PC and PC to HDTV conversions, the unit can convert a 480i Component Video signal, from a DVD Player for example to PC or HDTV resolutions. The output resolution and refresh rate is selected via push buttons and OSD Menu. The integral processor provides control over many picture parameters, such
as: Contrast, Brightness, Color Saturation, R-G-B Levels and H-V Positioning.
For best performance, use high-grade output cables.

Our photos show the Audio Authority logo as a raised plastic dome, but the units that are
currently shipping have a silk-screened logo.
Here is the input side of the device. It has a VGA-style HD-15 input
connector on the left, a power connector, and a power status LED at the right.
On the output side is another VGA-style HD-15 connector and three push-buttons for configuration.
